Actors Information Services is not new. We have been around for a very long time. In fact, our combined years of history in Hollywood between The Career Doctor, The A.I.S. Moderator and our Scouts total 72 years! About 5 years ago we started closely examining the attitudes and business practices of acting schools, agencies and other institutions and crated this service to actors to help create a more positive change and direction as to how business is done in the entertainment industry. Our guide The Best In The Business 2005 was created to help actors identify the best companies in the industry that our Scouts have experienced and put their seal of approval on. Most guides only offer a list of names and telephone numbers and leave it to the actor to figure out who’s who. Not only can this be very dangerous, but time consuming and costly. Our long term goal is to clean up the entertainment industry by giving the actor the best resources for training, representation and other services. Our hope is that actors will unite and do business with the companies in the guide. These companies appreciate your business and will do their best to serve you above and beyond your expectations. Our standards are high-our Scouts are watching.
